Data sources and licences

This site uses files from the JMdict/EDICT and KANJIDIC projects. These files are the property of the Electronic Dictionary Research and Development Group, and are used in conformance with the Group's licence.

This site uses SVG files from the KanjiVG project.

The pitch accent data was provided by Uros O. through his free database.

Pitch-accent data also incorporates the UniDic for Contemporary Spoken Japanese (version 2025.12), copyright © 2023 National Institute for Japanese Language and Linguistics, under the modified BSD license.
